BE HEALTHY, BE LIVELY AND BE WITH STYLE!

BE HEALTHY, BE LIVELY AND BE WITH STYLE! is the message of “Perpetuum mobile – Institute for Youth and Community Development” team from Banja Luka

CARE partner organization “Perpetuum mobile – Institute for Youth and Community Development” Banja Luka has launched an interesting initiative. Extracurricular educational activities are organized online.

Children and young people are in their homes. In primary and secondary schools, as well as at faculties classes are held “at a distance”. That is why our Pereptuum mobile partners have adapted their programs to the current situation and tried to address issues and problems that are current and useful especially for young people, but also for their parents. Based on “Program Y“, a program that received the European Award as one of the top ten packages of non-formal education for young people in 2017, as it promotes and encourages HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, trainings, counseling and communication with young people are organized wherever they are, to ease the days of reduced social interaction. While all of us are #athomes (#Ukućama) Pereptuum and its greatest strength – peer educators, have addressed us with short educational video clips (up to 10 minutes) every day from 8pm. The topics were:

  1. Caring about yourself: men, women, gender and health – Aleksandra Đukic
  2. On mental health and anxiety – Tamara Petković
  3. Act like a man, act like a woman – Jovana Mačkić
  4. Expressing own feelings – Monika Kecman
  5. What would I like to do with my life? – Lana Jargović
  6. Aggressive, passive, assertive – David Blagojević
