CARE International Balkan’s partner Perpetuum Mobile based in Banja Luka and the local Be a Man Club (Budi Musko Klub) as part of the Boys and Men as Allies in Violence Prevention and Gender Transformation in the Western Balkans project supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation and OAK Foundation, organized a flash mob event as a part of campaign “React as human – Against Violence”.
BMC/BMK members did a symbolic walk through the city with blindfolds to highlight how people often close their eyes to everyday violence. The action was designed to show people the need to break the silence. With this action the BMC members tried to reach bystanders who have a key role in prevention of violence against women.
