My story about “Be a Man Club” started in early 2012. Workshops have started and caught my attention with topics which are different than the things we usually do in school, and they look much different than the usual classes we have, so I decided to stay and participate.
I was walking around the school and saw a strange stand in the hall, which was surrounded by many students. I approached it and asked what it was all about. Guys from BMC explained it to me and asked me if I wanted to join them.
BMK drama group performed a play “I am …” for students of the Vocational High School in Bjelovar at the Cultural Centre Trešnjevka.

On Friday, 30 November in “Bitef Theatre” the premiere of the theater play “Machomen” was held, theatrical documentary about masculinity here and today.
In June 2012, Sonke Gender Justice Network, Promundo-US and the Institute for Mental Health of Goma implemented the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES) in Goma, North Kivu, DRC[1].
Initial findings from the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES) reveal that sexual violence is just as prevalent in homes as it is in conflict in North Kivu, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
“Teaser” campaign in Technical school NBGD started on 15.10. and lasted for a whole week before starting educational workshops in classes.
Halloween has passed and it is time to take off the masks. Status: M has taken care that 7 th and 8th November are reserved for taking of the masks and showing the true face of a real man, so we have prepared a series of activities and interesting events.
In order to continue expanding the network of schools in partnership that are implementing a Young man initiative program, we need to present them our program in detail and demonstrate the way in which he is being conducted.
From 4th until the 7th of Novembre StatusM is in cooperation with organizations Promundo, UNFPA and Care International organizing the MenCare conference.
