This conference is organized by CARE International Balkans, in partnership with local NGOs and with the support of the Swiss Government. Switzerland has a long tradition of support to comprehensive education on health, gender relations and sexual health in secondary schools. Although there are variations between cantons, most programs include teachers and outside experts as lecturers. Young people in BiH will continue to be in the focus of the new Swiss cooperative strategy 2017-2020 through activities which include the reduction of unemployment among young people, improvement of health services, including mental health and strengthening of gender equality. We need committed partners who are ready to respond and implement actions and to engage in the implementation of reforms.

We invited international and local experts to share with us current knowledge in this field. The goal of the conference is to promote a new educational program for the violence prevention and promotion of healthy life styles. The program is accredited in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and has a license to be used in secondary schools in the Republic of Srpska. It is also used in the Sarajevo Canton and in the Central Bosnia Canton. The press conference will be organized on 30 March 2017 at 14:00 in the Hotel Mostar. The statements will be provided by:
