CARE International Balkans and the partner organizations Perpetuum Mobile, Youth Power, Association XY, organized a 5-day leadership camp in the period from 12-16 July at Sutjeska.
The activity is part of the project “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles Among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes” supported by the Swiss Government and the OAK Foundation. During the camp young people took part in workshops on youth leadership and responding to violence with the aim of preventing it in the local communities from which the participants of the camp come. The participants were also part of interesting teambuilding activities.
60 young people who have participated in this camp are part of local Be a Man Clubs that work to promote gender equality and healthy lifestyles as well the prevention of violence.
