On 14 December 2015 CARE International’s partner organization “Snaga Mladih / Youth Power” from Mostar organized counseling for pedagogues and professional associates from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton about the project “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes” in Hotel Mostar.

Following a three day MenCare seminar held in September (Čakovec), we begun on informing the community, whilst workshops in Prelog and Kuršanec have started – three more workshop cycles are being scheduled in Macinec and Čakovec.

The award “Real man” was founded with the idea that winners are models of behavior and positive examples of masculinity for young men and boys. CARE International Balkans, in partnership with local NGOs and with the support of CARE Norway, Austrian Development Cooperation, OAK Foundation and the Swiss Government organized a two-day conference on fatherhood in Sarajevo, from 12-13 November 2015. The Conference was opened by the member of BiH Presidency from the Republic of Spska, Mr. Mladen Ivanić.
