Future4Youth Initial Partners Meeting
Last week, CARE and partners gathered in Vlašić, BiH for an initial meeting to discuss the roadmap and collaborative strategies for upcoming activities for the Future 4 Youth project that is implemented in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The initial session provided an overview of the project, highlighting the core goals, objectives, and the impact we aim to achieve through our collaboration. Next in line was the outline of the MEAL process and framework to ensure transparency and accountability. The day concluded with BMC leaders presenting their approaches to campaigning, showcasing the innovative methods they employ to engage their communities.
#16DaysofActivism against Gender Based Violence
The morning began with an in-depth session on the 16 days of Activism and campaigning role of the “Be a Man Clubs.” Together with partners, we explored creative strategies and planned a series of interesting activities aimed at addressing the rise of gender-based violence in the Balkans. The session allowed us to align on messaging, brainstorm impactful outreach efforts, and design community-focused initiatives that empower youth to take a stand, creating a powerful collective response to make a lasting difference.
Roadmap to Vienna
Furthermore, we outlined the “Roadmap to Vienna”, a structured selection process for an internship opportunity in BAWAG bank in Austria, set for next summer. This internship is designed to recognize and support outstanding members of Be a Man clubs from Serbia and BiH.
Partners engaged in a strategic dialogue on the future direction of the project, examining long-term goals and aligning on a shared vision. Special emphasis was placed on fundraising strategies, as sustaining these efforts will require consistent and diversified funding streams.
As the meeting concluded, partners expressed their commitment to the project’s goals and enthusiasm for the upcoming initiatives. With shared priorities and energized collaboration, we’re set to make impactful progress together.
The meeting was organized within Future 4 Youth project financed by BAWAG, Marie Ebert Stiftung and Aktion Deutschland Hilft implemented by CARE Balkans in cooperation with Centre E8 from Serbia, and Institute for Population and Development and Perpetuum Mobile from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
