In the framework of the ADA-funded project “Youth Voices for a Better Future,” CARE Caucasus recently conducted a fruitful study visit to CARE Balkans. This initiative aimed to foster learning and collaboration among youth leaders, with a specific focus on gender synchronization programming and methodology.
The visit kicked off with a series of engaging presentations detailing CARE Balkans’ innovative approaches to gender issues and community engagement. Participants had the opportunity to explore the unique methodologies employed in the region, emphasizing the importance of empowering youth to actively participate in societal change.
A significant component of the study visit was the interaction with youth clubs from Sarajevo and Tuzla. These exchanges provided a platform for young people to share their experiences and challenges, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. The discussions revolved around effective strategies for community engagement and the vital role that youth play in shaping their environments.
Beyond the programming, participants gained valuable insights into the rich history and cultural context of Bosnia and Herzegovina. By understanding the local dynamics, the visiting group could appreciate the challenges and opportunities within the communities they aim to serve. This cultural immersion is crucial for developing impactful programs that resonate with the needs of young people in both regions.
The study visit not only facilitated knowledge sharing but also reinforced the commitment of both CARE Caucasus and CARE Balkans to empower youth voices. By building capacities in gender issues and community engagement, the project aims to equip young leaders with the tools necessary to drive positive change in their communities.
As we continue this journey towards a better future for our youth, we look forward to the ongoing collaboration between CARE Caucasus and CARE Balkans. Together, we can amplify the voices of young people and inspire them to lead the way in their communities.
Stay tuned for more updates as we share the insights and experiences from this transformative study visit!
