Opening of Youth Centar in Gračanica

On January 17, 2023, a new Youth Center was officially opened in Gračanica. This state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with everything needed for optimal functioning and is open to anyone who wants to make a positive impact on the local community through their activism.

The Youth Center will also serve as a meeting and activity space for members of the Be a Man Club Gračanica, who were honored to present their club at the opening ceremony. Additionally, the center will host the “Baby Steps” school for expectant mothers, presented by Emina Jahić, as well as interventions by the SOS Children’s Village of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support families in need within Gračanica and the surrounding area, presented by Edmira Aščić.

The head of the Youth Center, Kerim Grbić, shared information about the projects that have been completed and the exciting activities planned for the future. Edin Bunda, the project manager for the SOS Children’s Village in Sarajevo, and Tanja Šišić, the project manager for Gračanica, also addressed the attendees.

Prominent figures in attendance at the opening ceremony included Malik Garibija, the director of the SOS Children’s Village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mayor Nusret Helić, Edin Bunda, Tanja Šišić, Kerim Grbić, members of the Be a Man Club Gračanica, and many other guests.
