CARE partner organization Youth Power organized the action on the occasion of the Valentine’s Day. Members of the Bey a Man Club Mostar distributed balloons and sweets on the streets of the city of Mostar with messages that promote the expression of emotions and love.
The action was conducted in two terms. The first part of the action was conducted in the morning while the second part was conducted in the afternoon. Volunteers walked around the city and talked with the citizens where they spread positive information among each other, causing people’s satisfaction. The aim of the action was to share 70 gifts made by volunteers and members of the Club.
This activity is organized as part of a program implemented by the NGO Youth Power with the aim of promoting healthier lifestyles and preventing gender-based violence.
Be a Man Club Mostar is part of activities of the project “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes”. This project is supported by the Swiss Government and the OAK Foundation and implemented with the support of CARE International Balkans.
