On 14 December 2015 CARE International’s partner organization “Snaga Mladih / Youth Power” from Mostar organized counseling for pedagogues and professional associates from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton about the project “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes” in Hotel Mostar.
The aim of this consultation was to familiarize pedagogues of secondary schools with the methodology of work used by the project, its activities and project goals.
In addition to the Executive Director of Youth Power, Armin Čerkez and Program Manager Nedim Mičijević the consultation was also attended by Professor Saša Petković – Project Manager of CARE International Banja Luka, who presented the project and its results from previous years, Professor Srđan Dušanić from the University of Banja Luka, who presented the results of the baseline study conducted this year as part of the project, and Aleksandar Slijepčević – Project Coordinator from Perpetuum Mobile Banja Luka, who presented the methodology of work with youth and Training Manual for Educators and Youth Workers – Program Y(outh).
The project “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes” is supported by the Swiss Government and the OAK Foundation and implemented with the support of CARE International Balkans.
