CARE International Balkans and partner organizations involved in the project “Young men initiative – promoting healthier lifestyles among youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by challenging gender stereotypes”.
Project is supported by the Swiss Government, the Austrian Development Agency, the OAK Foundation, and CARE Germany-Luxembourg, held a two-day working meeting with representatives of relevant institutions of all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, working on projects for the development of youth, education, violence prevention, healthy lifestyles and gender equality.
The meeting was held at the Hotel Kardial in Teslic, from 25-26 February 2015. The meeting was attended by the representatives and representatives of CARE and partner organizations involved in the project: Institute for Youth and Community Development Perpetuum Mobile, Banja Luka; Association XY, Sarajevo and NGO Youth Power, Mostar; the Swiss Government, UNFPA, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, Federal Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Srpska, Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Srpska, Gender centers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska and Agency for Gender Equality of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The next steps in the work of entity management groups involved in the project during the next three-year period, which will be coordinated by CARE and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska and Federal Ministry of Education and Science were agreed at the meeting.
