On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the premises of PRONI, Center for Youth Development, Brcko, a meeting was held on the occasion of the continuation of the three-year project “Young Men Initiative III”, which was attended by representatives of the Swiss Government in BiH, CARE International and Perpetuum mobile from Banja Luka.
We are pleased to continue the joint cooperation in promoting healthier lifestyles among young people in the District, and we also talked with members of the “Be a Man Club Brčko” who shared their experiences of past activities and plans for the next school year.
After the visit of partner organizations, a productive meeting was held with the Head of the Department for Education of the Brčko District BiH, Mr. Zoran Bulatović, with the aim of presenting the results achieved in the previous three-year period and modalities of future cooperation in the next three-year period. Through an open discussion, we received very useful comments on the project activities and support for the continuation of the project, which is of great importance in the personal and social development of high school students. We hope that the epidemiological measures will enable the smooth implementation of project activities in the coming period.
The activity was implemented within the project Young Men Initiative III (YMI): “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles and Decrease of Interpersonal Violence among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes III“, supported by the Swiss Government, Oak Foundation, Austrian Development Agency and CARE International Bosnia and Herzegovina.
