CARE International Balkans today is launching a fatherhood and men care giving campaign as part of the Boys and Men as Allies in Gender Transformation and Violence Prevention in the Western Balkans project supported by Austrian Development Cooperation and OAK Foundation.
The kickoff of the campaign was organized to coincide with the United Nations The International Day of Families(‪#‎DayofFamilies) . Partners include Centar E8, in Serbia, PEN – Peer Educators Network in Kosovo, Counseling Line in Albania and Perpetuum Mobile in Banja Luka. The campaign is part of the global MenCare campaign (‪#‎mencare) whose mission is to promote men’s involvement as equitable, non-violent fathers and caregivers in order to achieve family well-being and gender equality. The activities related to the launch will take place in May, including roundtables / conferences and continue for the coming period. Stay tuned for more information.
