On the occasion of the International Women’s Day (the 8th of March) the members of the “Be a Man Club” from Kosovska Mitrovica organized actions at the main square“Sumadija” in Kosovska Mitrovica.
Within an action named “Let every day be the 8th of March!” our members gave out roses to our fellow female citizens, with some messages attached to the roses saying about the need for equality in relations between men and women in our community. The name of the action speaks for itself that men should be the carriers of building up the equality related to the rights between women and men, in that sense, the “Be a Man Club” is the best place at which this action should begin.
The reaction towards our action was extraordinary!
Our female citizens were astonished by this type of a pleasant surprise. Of course, we are glad that other citizens have had given a couple of applauds to our members for implementing such an action. The overview of this action would be that we enjoyed the action and that we are glad because of the fact that we ran into great understanding and acceptance of our work amongst the citizens of both sexes.
